Doctors from all over the world gathered in the beginning of May in Tel-Aviv to attend the International Conference on Medical Rehabilitation, an event organized by a Norwegian organization and hosted in the Tel Hashomer Hospital.
Specialists from America, China, Norway, and Sweden attended the conference as well as six Palestinian doctors, expressly recommended and sent by the Civil Administration. Five of the doctors are from the Beit Jala hospital next to Bethlehem and one is from Al-Wafa hospital in Gaza.
The conference constituted of many lectures about the different rehabilitation processes of patients with injuries due to accidents or dangerous pregnancies, as many others. The audience also visited different centers of rehabilitation in Jaffa and Tiberias.

We encourage those meetings because we are supporting and helping them to have a high level quality in treating patients with injuries” said Dalia Bassa, the Medical Coordinator at the Civil Administration.
The Civil Administration sent more than 500 Palestinian doctors to more than 20 conferences since the beginning of the year 2012, many of which where abroad, as the Conference on Cancer in Moscow and a Conference for Dermatologists in Portugal and Germany.
