A barrage of rockets targeted at Israel's southern communities this morning: the Eshkol Regional Council suffered three injuries due to a direct rocket hit at a chicken coop. Another rocket hit homes in the Eshkol Regional Council, but none were harmed. The Iron Dome system successfully intercepted a Grad rocket fired south of Ashkelon.

So far, the Israeli Air Force struck four groups of terrorists in Gaza while they were firing into Israel. The attack came in response to a barrage of rockets and mortar shells that were fired last night at the settlements around Gaza. The military guided the residents in the area to stay within 15 seconds of secure spaces.

Following the shooting in the southern towns, an evaluation took place; it was decided to close all crossings to the Gaza Strip and freeze the schools in the Israeli regional councils around the Gaza Strip due to the constant firing and the concern for human lives.
