The Nablus Sewage Treatment Facility is funded by the German Development Bank (KFW), and is valued at 35 million Euros. The facility employs 50 employees (mostly from Nablus), and so the project works to mitigate unemployment in Nablus Sector.
This project is currently undergoing, and is planned to conclude by the end of 2012. Currently, on-site work continues, while all coordination procedures required for the continuous and proper conclusion of the project are being carried out.
The establishment of a sewage pipeline from Nablus to the facility will commence soon and shall compose a substantial component of the project’s progress.
It should be noted that the facility’s engineers are supported by the International Organizations officer and DCL officers at all times, in order to ensure the project’s continued progress.
