04.02.13 - "Grizim" underground electrical lines have been refurbished and upgraded over the past week
COGAT spokesperson announces that The "Grizim" underground electrical lines that supply electricity from Israel to Gaza`s northern region have been refurbished and upgraded over the past week. This process has significantly increased the capacity of the cable line thereby providing an amount more stable source of electricity to over 70,000 residents of northern Gaza. The "Grizim" lines supplies 12.5 MW of electricity which are ten percents of the total amount of electricity supplied by Israel to Gaza every day.

The spokesman for COGAT, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories announced that today, 11-21-2012, the Erez Crossing was opened for the transfer of people and medical supplies between Israel and the Gaza Strip.
